PATHETIC
These past few days have been a sad week for our country's constitution. If this doesn't demonstrate the importance of the fight against liberal judicial activism, nothing does. We've seen the destruction of the protections of private property our founding fathers so clearly put in place, and now the victory of leftist propaganda.
WASHINGTON (AP) - A sharply divided Supreme Court on Monday upheld the constitutionality of displaying the Ten Commandments on government land, but drew the line on certain renderings inside courthouses, saying they violate the doctrine of separation of church and state.
There is no "doctrine of separation of church and state" in my copy of the constitution. This propaganda fueled by the left's contempt for religion had now made its way to the Supreme Court. I'm thoroughly disgusted.

FYI - I found this on a liberal blog that i like to visit.
Stop Ronald Reagan by John in DC - 6/24/2005 05:30:00 PM
I'm serious. Enough of the abuse of an old man's memory for partisan political gain. Go here and vote, or the right-wing freaks are going to pick Reagan as the man of the century. Apparently it's already on a number of conservative Web sites. I'm sorry, but that's just gross. And remember you can cast 3 votes, so do all 3.

Jerusalem is the worlds holiest city. Three of the biggest religions claim linkage to this city - all of which think of homosexual acts as sinful. Is it possible for the gay community to not want to be controversial all the time? Do you see Christians demanding to have a Jesus march through Mecca?
Jerusalem to Ban Annual Gay Pride Parade

JERUSALEM --
Jerusalem officials said Thursday they will ban the annual gay pride parade set for next week, claiming the march would offend many of the holy city's residents.
Organizers of the parade appealed to Israel's Supreme Court to repeal the ruling, saying the decision was a violation of the homosexual community's freedom of expression.
The city council, including the mayor, decided "it is not right to allow the march or other planned activities to take place in the streets of Jerusalem, fearing that it will create an uproar, offend a wide sector of city residents and out of fear of public disturbances," Eitan Meir, director general of City Hall, said in a letter to organizers.
The Associated Press obtained a copy of the letter from city officials.
A majority of Jerusalem's more than 600,000 residents are either Orthodox Jews or Muslim or Christian Palestinians _ conservative communities that oppose homosexuality.
The march, scheduled for June 30, was to be the fourth annual parade. The three previous parades have passed peacefully, attended by several thousand people and with only minor incidents of vandalism and protest.
The organizers of the parade, the Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance, appealed to the court to allow the march to go ahead.
"The actions of the mayor, and those carrying out his policies, are injurious to the values of freedom of expression," said Open House director Hagai El-Ad.
The city decision comes just weeks after the Jerusalem Open House postponed WorldPride 2005, a 10-day gathering that includes street parties, workshops and a gay film festival, until August 2006.

I heard this joke yesterday...thought it was funny
How many Ted Kennedys does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Five. One to hold the bulb and four to sit around and drink until the room starts spinning.

Way to go Karl Rove!
Karl Rove came to the heart of Manhattan last night to rhapsodize about the decline of liberalism in politics, saying Democrats responded weakly to Sept. 11 and had placed American troops in greater danger by criticizing their actions.
"Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers," Mr. Rove, the senior political adviser to President Bush, said at a fund-raiser in Midtown for the Conservative Party of New York State.
Citing calls by progressive groups to respond carefully to the attacks, Mr. Rove said to the applause of several hundred audience members, "I don't know about you, but moderation and restraint is not what I felt when I watched the twin towers crumble to the ground, a side of the Pentagon destroyed, and almost 3,000 of our fellow citizens perish in flames and rubble."
